RE:Loopy

RE:LoopyWell if I was going to the AGM I would ask for clarity how the TC's are determined. I would ask the Independent Directors (if any show up) how they feel they are protecting the shareholders, and what can be done about a situation where a company makes one billion dollars a year and won't pay the smelter owners a penny.  I would ask how the smelter was able to run at 50% on non-union workers and why there are so many.  I would ask what the details of the new union contract are. I would ask why the details of the SPA need to be kept secret, because they clearly haves no significance to competitors. I would ask if Glencore can be sued for conflict of interest, for damaging the health of the shareholders by manipulating the market in its own favour.  I would ask the independent directors to resign, since they are clearly not protecting the shareholders they represent.  And I would ask them to explain how they are constrained by Glencore in the negotiating process, and why they haven't forced Glencore to drop the market terms pricing since Glencore clearly manipulates the market by adjusting concentrate supply. I would ask what "market terms" means in a small (not many players) market where TC's are not readily availabe anyway, so it is impossible for shareholders to tell if Noranda is actually getting comparable results as ther smelters.  I would ask if the Independent Directors do any research into the profitability and expenses of other smelters in the world, in order to go informed into negotiations with Glencore.

As to whether anyone is left on the bullboard, I think probably we have given up. Probably a good time to buy more shares! ,,,
