Not time to abandon ship now -

Not time to abandon ship now -A few comments about BML.

Obviously this junior gold with a ton of claims has underperformed and disappointed many.  Doyle has been the butt of countless jokes.  Money and time were wasted on tilting at windmills like chasing manipulators, the RCMP and a high-profile lawyer who as far as we know accomplished exactly nothing.

If one was to speculate as to what the biggest problem has been, I believe most would say the ineptness of management in the person of Lou Doyle.

However, that being said I believe there is evidence that a number of the Barker claims bear gold and a lot of it.  We know that at least one if not two of Barkerville's cores showing high-grade gold is/are on-strike with Barker property(ies).

The problem is that Barker has no funds to prove their gold up and Lou Doyle is looked upon as being too fractious so that companies and individuals tend to avoid him.  But despite that, greed will trump fear or dislike any day when the POG moves into the $1,500 range or even before.

I believe it would be naive to take the position that the presumed dislike of Lou Doyle would prevent a shrewd company making some kind of play for one or more of the Barker properties.  At least, that is the way I see it.

The share price is absurdly cheap and the insider selling is probably because they HAVE to for whatever reason.  At some point in time, everyone needs a cash infusion.  OTOH, perhaps even the 'insiders' themselves have lost confidence in the company.

I don't know that but what I do know is that Barkerville's gold extends into Barker properties which fact makes them of interest and gives them enough potential value that when the POG does moves, as stated, we still well may see some fireworks.

At worst, if the thing does go "belly up," at least shareholders will have capital losses to offset their gains on the gold juniors who do well, of which there are a significant number and will participate in what many believe will be a roaring market in the junior gold explorers.

At any rate and regardless of what transpires with Barker Minerals, GLTA.
