2018 H1 Distribution - determination of currency amounts
Glencore confirms that:
1. it will make a return of capital on 23 May 2018 to holders of record at the close of business on 27 April on the Jersey register.
2. this repayment, which was approved yesterday by shareholders, is of US$0.10 per ordinary share
3. the repayment is to be made in US dollars, although shareholders on the Jersey register have been able to elect to receive their distribution payments in Pounds Sterling, Euros or Swiss Francs. Shareholders who hold via the Hong Kong Nominee will receive their distribution in Hong Kong Dollars.
4. the Pound Sterling, Euro and Swiss Franc amounts payable are determined by reference to the closing mid exchange rates applicable to the US dollar on Wednesday 2 May 2018.

An announcement was made in South Africa on 13 April regarding the determination of the South African Rand amount payable in respect of shares on the Johannesburg register.
