Planting timeframe and details

Here’s some stats on previous planting times and when we can expect them to start planting in their two locations(New Brunswick and Oregon):

New Brunswick

• Last year they planted their test crops at the start of June but stated that they could’ve planted by mid-May
• Early drought stunted the plants but they made a speedy recovery once more seasonal weather was upon them(30cm growth in a week!)
• Lack of controls and preparation of soil amounted to less than expectated outputs, also errors in testing of CBD caused skewed results
• Further preparation of soil and planting procedures for the 2018 season will yield better results, also increasing acrage to 125 will give more product to choose from/sample

Oregon

• First year for GHG to be growing hemp in this region
• Hemp agriculture in Oregon has been legal since 2015, but has really taken off in the past year due to signing of bill SB1015
• Hemp is generally planted right after corn so we could see planting in Oregon starting as early as mid-May
• Oregon’s recreational marijuana market is thriving and there’s a large appetite for hemp based products
