Searchlight Minerals Corp. is an exploration stage company, which is engaged in a slag reprocessing project and the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. The Company is focused on the Clarkdale Slag Project, located in Clarkdale, Arizona, which is a reclamation project to recover precious and base metals from the reprocessing of slag produced from the smelting of copper ore mined at the United Verde Copper Mine in Jerome, Arizona. The Company is involved in separating valuable metals, including gold, high-quality pig iron, and zinc oxide from approximately 20 million tons slag pile left from the United Verde Copper Mine in Jerome, Arizona. RE:Results

RE:Results  Sometimes you stumble across a certain company that seems to have everything in place, The more I continue to dig up information on Canyon Copper the more thrilled I am to be a shareholder. I have bought and sold many speculative stocks over the years, however there is certainly a few items that standout with this particular play. The management (Stephen Wallace) at Canyon Copper is astute, and knows exactly what it takes to turn shareholders equity into capital. Look no further than the 84 million dollar takeover of his previous endeavor in 2012 by Detour Gold. Of note Mr. Wallace serves on the Convention Planning committee for PDAC. So crediblitty is not an issue.

In recent developments Sean Spelliscy (GEM OIL) has become a significant shareholder of CNC. What exactlly the reason he has purchased the shares is anyones guess, but there is plenty of reason's for one to speculate. One thing is for sure, Mr. Spelliscy is now an "insider" here at CNC and his knowledge and backgroungd of the geology in the Saskatchewan area is second to none..

With the government of Saskatchewan promoting the development of the area that Canyon Copper has secured properties around, expect a tailwind of activity to unfold. With the Vancouver mining conference scheduled for mid May, company drill results due,  things will get very interesting in the coming weeks.

I just love reading over this letter..
