RE:No Water = No LithiumTimerunner wrote: No one but Abermale has water rights in Clayton Valley and with the chance of ever getting any commercial water rights equating to ZERO, as Abermale has had 100% of the water rights since the 1960s I am at a loss as to the what and why you think that will change. Look up the number of legal actions over water rights that are going on at the current moment. We are talking an army of high paid Abermale (a multi billion dollar company) lawyers already in the forefront with legal action's up the wazu against the state for possible billions of losses in future revenue . Not sure any little explorer has the cash or years needed to fight against one of the world's biggest Lthium producer's and the only producer of Lithium in the USA even think they have a snowball's chance in hell of winning is "wowsers" .
Please try to respond with something tangible of an argument to dispute my statements not just revert to name calling etc.
Anyways something to concider and very good luck to you all.
I think Abermale might buy CYP in future. They let them do the job and if it fits their needs CYP will be bought.
Yes water is an issue in the region. Belmont resources has just applied for water right in their kibby basin project up north of Abermale. And the project looks very same.
CYP should promote better.
