RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:No Water = No Lithium

Good post, nopoo. But I respectfully disagree.

Water rights is the elephant in the room. One way or another CYP is going to need water for processing and CYP needs to openly address this and provide investors a solution. So far they haven't said a word (to my knowledge). In my opinion, this is too big and important a matter not to address head on.

As nopoo just noted, the US in their "Federal Strategy To Ensure Secure and Reliable Supplies of Critical Minerals", states that certain rights (such as water) should not hamper new suppliers. However, I can't see ALB immediately rolling over without a fight - ALB would lose but it could cause lengthy delays.

Ideally, CYP should strike a deal w ALB, perhaps give a portion of the company to ALB in exchange for water rights and maybe get access to ALB's processing space and facilities.

I wonder if other potential buyers and investors are not showing greater interest because they don't want to deal w the water issue, which at the moment, is still unresolved. That's my 2 cents. I am long CYP.
