Look kirk its never going to wipe out the BM completely -atleast not for 15 years- the alcohol BM when prohibition ended took 7 yrs to make a dent in illegal bootlegging sales.experts expect MJ to take twice as long. As far as pricing its all about the end user-the "half bag" nickle bag buyers. In order for somebody to buy a pound  or pounds and break it down you need those half bag buyers to eventually down the line move the product...without these guys there are no pound buyers .

blackmarket you can buy a half=3.5 grams for anywhere from 25-40 bucks canadian ...**not per pound price ,this is the end user cost .

Dispensary= 8-10 bucks maybe 12 with taxes ..

3.5x10=35 dollars for 3.5 grams

now mind you you have taxes etc with dispensary prices so lets say 40-45 for a half 3.5 G from dispensary ,maybe top notch 50...
verses on average 30BM and top notch quads 40BM..


in conclusion kirk i feel for many years to come it will be split 50/50 until us older guys are gone and millenials and generation Z only know one way to pickup and thats at the corner store, or near buy dispensary- afterall they say edibles, beverages , and extracts will be majority of the Revenue for these companies .
For me personally i dont mind buying BM for flower but i certainly prefer a company shatter over BM and 100% i prefer an edible from a dispensary or online.one that has been tested for quality and consistancy .
