The interest from local governments for the road is to enhance the Pangnirtung trail portion of the road, which syncs up nicely with the trail to Chidliak for a descent stretch of the trail. Maybe 20-30%, in that ball park. Iqaluit and Pang are beyond broke and will never pitch in funds, maybe federal funding or perhaps QIA project buy-in but QIA is usually only interested in something for nothing.
