The fact that Michael Smith is one of those early investors gives me some hope that he is actually trying to make something of this, but there’s shady people in both countries tied to MGD.  

There’s been zero accountability for years, so who’s to say that the prominent Guyanese investors haven’t already been compensated?  I’m sure many have been taken care of already or heads would have literally rolled, given the Wild West environment in Guyana.
