Hey schmoby -- look at the feb 16 line (slide cursor to view whole chart). Now compare that to the latest may 1 line. You remember the drop in prb's sp after mid-feb, well you have relatively high #s in the may 1 short data as you did after feb 1. To keep it really simple, look at the "% Total Traded Volume" column. The may 1 figure is higher than for feb 16.
Also, if you divide the short traded volume by the the # of short trades it will show that each short trade had approx 40% more shorted shares. Tells me you have a lower # of entities that have shorted a substantially higher # of prb shares. Basically, they're committed short sellers (a.k.a pros) who are betting that prb is going to take a hit. Hope this helps. Jmvho.
