I too think descheduling is invetible, that is the only reason their California operation looks attractive to me. However that may still be a ways off, and smoking/vaping marijuana has poor and unpredictable bioavailability. Edibles are also no good because of the conversion to 11 hydroxy thc in the liver. I've said this before, biosynthetic cannabinoids that avoid first pass are the future. Medical marijuana is more of a stop gap.
