DOWN DOWN DOWN they go....

MontNAY wrote: Well I was totally correct about 7G, wasn’t I??? Terrible reaction in the market - they’re down 3 dollars since the  press release.  COO was axed, along with the other VP.   I called that too. Canada Penaion Plan and Credit Suiisee contacts told me it was happening.  The good news is that the new COO is from CNQ- a real solid company, well run, top tier management. He will get it turned around but not before more headaches. They have to turn around the entire culture there. And orient themselves to a shareholder focused company, not a STAKEholder focused company.   And for the record 7G didn’t “miss it” Q1, they totally dropped the ball. The stock is down a ton. Horrible to watch this.  Pretty much every analyst and investment bank has lowered their rating in response to this nonsense. Reduced to “Neutral” or hold by some. Gone are the “Outperform” ratings.

So it turns out after all that MANAGEMENT MATTERS.   The market does not really care about condensate pricing or liquids ratios, they want a company committed to getting a return on their investment. Which brings me to TOU: what a solid press release. Dividend increased. Reduced debt. Stable and solid and cheap operations. And no execs fired.  And finally, TOU stock is up after their release, 4.2% and climbing. Told you so.
