Vancouver, British Columbia, International Zeolite Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX.V:IZ) (OTCQB: IZCFF) (FSE: ZEON), is pleased to provide shareholders with an update on work to test and develop the agricultural and environmental markets for direct applications of our Bromley Creek zeolite. The Company’s business strategy is to further develop strong proprietary products which will grow our Company’s value as our products advance through research and approval.
In April, the Company’s Research and Development advisory team spent time in Ontario following up on trial evaluations of several proposed applications of the Company’s products in commercial agriculture. The evaluation work that has come from testing animal feeds will be very useful in further developing International Zeolite's commercial products for the agricultural sector. Over the coming months, the Company will be rolling out the next phase of its work in this area.
Further to the agriculture review work, the R&D advisory team met with several leading organizations addressing water quality concerns in Ontario. Water contaminants such as phosphorous and ammonia are increasingly problematic across North America and are believed to be significant contributors to massive algae blooms and other disruptions to the sensitive eco-systems of water tables and regional drainage systems.
International Zeolite is positioned to be a significant partner to the management and correction of many of the hydra-ecological disruptions currently of greatest concern in Ontario, British Columbia and elsewhere. The Star Vancouver recently reported, “Treatment plants across Canada are facing an ever-growing number of contaminants that could pose risks for human and environmental health.” Read the full article at https://www.internationalzeolite.com/media-2018-04-30
Following this recent evaluation trip and throughout 2018, International Zeolite will be adding to its body of research in water filtration, animal nutrition support and plant on-demand nutrient delivery. Led by Dr. Hossein Kazemian of the University of Northern British Columbia and Dr. Gerardo Fuentes of the University of Havana, International Zeolite is becoming Canada’s leader in the field of environmentally beneficial natural and modified zeolite solutions.
