Fwiw.........
Fwiw.........Just some observations on probe's friday action. I only mention probe as it appears to me to be a legitimate suitor to buy some or even possibly all of alexandria's assets. Then again, I could be totally off the mark. Regardless, here are my thoughts of late.
- Friday's volume in pbr.v and probf was the heaviest in more than 2 weeks
- looked to me that the pros were "playing" with buyers on friday (short covering???)
- charts in both prb.v and probf look bullish -- I would expect a further up move
- prb.v needs to have multiple consecutive decisive closes above cdn 1.36
- momentum could boast probf to close down gap to usd 1.0845
Bottom-line:
Prb.v and probf look poised to move higher early next week. Could be an inside day on monday, but regardless I think sp moves higher into tuesday (maybe a spike or up gap???). And then lo and behold, we have the next short data report on wednesday. It'll be interesting to see what the figures will show.
Were those amateur shorts who were covering on friday? I'm leaning in that direction, in which case they'll probably help push sp higher early next week. Or were friday afternoon's buyers just bad traders who don't know how to buy? Or could there be whispers that another NR will drop next week? Imo, I think any up move won't be long-lasting (i.e. a sucker's rally???). Remember, there's still an up gap to usd .9736 on probf that may or may not need to get filled before any long-term rally. On the other hand, certain entities seem to have been persistent that usd 1.00 holds.
Imo, if I were considering buying probe I would wait until at least alexandria releases its RE, expected anytime now. I mean rhetorically, why should anyone buy if insiders still haven't bought since early december last year. There's a very good reason why they haven't, we just don't know what that reason is. But we could find out before the end of the month. So we'll see what happens? Jmvho.
