Egrifta related patents:
1/ Composition of matter (tesamorelin): patent # 5,861,379

2/ Method of treating HIV-related lipodystrophy in a subject: patent # 7,316,997

Now, Thera could file another patent for method of treating NAFLD patients. The cost would be just under $50,000 and could be handled by a US patent law firm.

BTW, Thera had another patent related to method of treating MCI (mild cognitive impairment) patients as well: patent # 8,481,489. This could be substantial.
