HAMILTON, ON (April 25, 2018) – John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport officially kicks off its 2018 summer program this week.  With the snow melting and temperatures finally rising, it’s time for passengers to start planning summer vacations. East Coast, West Coast or points in between, Hamilton International wants to let Canadians know “we fly there.”

Highlights of the summer schedule include coast to coast flight offerings from Hamilton to Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal and Halifax as well as the return of the popular Hamilton to Vancouver non-stop service.

Air Canada continues its twice daily flights to Montreal from Hamilton. These flights service the needs of business and leisure passengers while also providing connections to Atlantic Canada and Europe via the airline’s Montreal hub.

Flair Air will continue to operate flights from Hamilton to Edmonton and Winnipeg.  These low-cost flight options remain attractive for Canadians looking to explore the country or visit friends and family in western Canada.

WestJet continues to offer passengers daily flights from Hamilton to Calgary while also bringing back last summer’s popular Hamilton to Vancouver non-stop service.

Swoop takes flight on June 20 and will offer Canadians another low-cost option to explore Canada. Swoop’s service will offer non-stop flights from Hamilton to Abbotsford, Edmonton, Halifax and Winnipeg.

“Summer is shaping up to be another busy season for Hamilton International, as customers look to take advantage of the Airport’s low-cost fare options and affordable parking.” Said Dina Carlucci, Director, Marketing and Communications, Hamilton International Airport. “With easy access to the Airport and a short walk to the terminal and gates, passengers will be on their way in no time. Whether they’re travelling to the East Coast or West Coast, we fly there.”
