I believe the bigger back rooms of the world will prepare long term plans on how to deal with a US that breaks deals, has become a ME first(or me only) trading partner, and tries to black mail allies into following Trump's choice of the day.
Look at the on off that has caused so much damage to the Chinese ZTE company. No nation is going to allow that kind of thing to happen over the long term.
This type of economic blackmail, tariffs at a whim, trade sanctions possibly imposed against Euopeans because he wants to break the Iran deal. NO WAY countries will deal with this long term.
The world will definitely shift away from the US and new economic power/trade systems will develop.
Yes, America's great "friend" in the Middle East, the Saudis, are already cozying up to Russia, and will always have close economic ties to China.
And China is rapidly becoming the leading economic force in the world.
Trump is just accelerating the demise of the US on the world stage with his stupidity.
