RE:Q not that great

RE:Q not that great Here's the cleaner, ad-free version:
https://villagefarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Press-Release-Q1-18-Results-FINAL.pdf

It's produce business moving forward won't matter a great deal in the grand scheme of things. I think the weaker quarter was anticipated in light of the fact that,
"slightly lower volumes at our Delta, BC operations, as we have not yet fully replaced the capacity from the transfer of the Delta 3 facility to Pure Sunfarms."

The more interesting take home message was this,
"The start today of commercial-scale cannabis production at the Delta 3 facility is the most significant milestone for Pure Sunfarms to date,” said Michael DeGiglio, CEO, Village Farms. “And we are thrilled to definitively move forward with the accelerated production plan, which significantly increases Pure Sunfarms conservative production targets to as much as 60,000 kilograms or more of dried cannabis through the end of 2019."

Looks like they've raised their production target yet again.

From the last investor update, production was targetted between 46,000 – 52,000 kg for the end of 2019 - See slide 17: https://villagefarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/VFF-Pres-Apr-16-for-Web-Site.pdf
