PPP001 will be the first of it's kind, and while phase 1 is a study on "terminal cancer patients", we can all understand how a DIN# for cancer pain and opioid sparing cancer patients represents a huge international market. To see large pharma companies partner with Tetra to get this product to market makes it clear that it's only a matter of time. Not if, but when!!
See Link: https://www.goodrx.com/blog/marinol-vs-marijuana-whats-the-difference/
Do they work for pain?
Prescription dronabinol has been studied for postoperative and neuropathic pain and was not found to be any better than placebo. For chronic non-cancer pain, it has been found to be only slightly better than placebo. There have been fewer studies of marijuana than cannabinoid pharmaceuticals, perhaps in part due to regulatory restrictions, but marijuana has better results for pain in the few studies that have been done. In all of these studies, smoked marijuana was found to be better than placebo in relieving pain. Another study examined the effects of marijuana that was vaporized (not smoked) and found that it too was better than placebo at relieving neuropathic/nerve pain.
The smoking efficacy of medical treatments has been stated by doctors in the industry to be very inefficient.
Nevertheless, even if you can convince doctors to prescribe this, how much revenue can one generate from “terminally ill patients”? It’s been asked before and avoided as usual. The best companies to invest in are ones with repeat customers. This, by definition of their target audience, is the exact opposite.
How many times do I have to say this?! First, Tera will be selling to terminal cancer patients all over the world not only in Canada like LPs. Secondly, doctors will be subscribing pp001 to any cancer patient with pain not only terminal patients as doctor's are already trying to avoid opiods that is killing ppl because patients get addicted to it and they increase their doses without noticing to a limit that they are committing suicide. Thirdly, Tetra DIN# means this an official medicine covered by health insurance all over the world. Fouthly, this medicine (smokable MJ) will be a revolution in the pain relief industry that will drive TBP price up like crazy once the DIN# is secured end of the year. Soon you will stop bashing this stock because it will be useless as the SP will be going up no matter what very soon..
