Many years ago an old man told me that he became rich by selling too early......meaning that he took his profits even if that meant leaving money on the table.Then a young broker told me that I should not sell unless I had a reason to  sell.........so two opposite views.

Leaving money on the table is frustrating but losing money is even more frustrating...It all depends on risk tolerance .......There are no fit all answers




I fully agree !!   Nice post !

I hope people will stop judging others that are selling.   Unless you are an insider where selling at a bad moment can send a bad signal.   I know their selling windows are limited but they have good salary and to many options in my opinion.  So they should be more carefull and avoid what Lyne did few weeks back.
