RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Shocked and surprised Royalty streamsWhen I go and look at the Centerra press release again, its apparent they are stockpiling cash....perhaps the royalty on fosterville had to be combined with their other NSR's in order to get the deal done.....almost 200M in cash extracted ...... thats a pretty big warchest ..... the end of the month will hopefully see the resolution of the Kumtor mine issue , and that would clear the way for Centerra to move forward on several projects where they are constructing mines for production...
I had posted that I had reached out to both IR people tow weeks ago asking about the royalty stream......and was met with resounding silence......would be nice to know the back story.
KL may not have been able to swallow the whole package..... The Young Davidson 1.2% has a gross value of 78,000,000 .... and dont forget KL also starts a new buyback program where if they follow last year, about 30% of allowed shares, at $25 a share....would be about $125M.
As to the investments in the very Jr companies....one has to plant seeds, and if you look at larger companies like Barrick, this is precisely what they do . No comment on Novo in particular.
