2) What about the licence to fly in Canada - they said they were working on the manuals...but how can they do that when they can't nail down the type of plane. I don't think they give you a licence without all this stuff in place. (no planes, no manuals, no inspections no license) - wanna bet they will say that it is dragging out in their next guidance announcement?

3) What about rising oil prices? Thought that was one of the contributing factors last time they cancelled...

4) What about the fact this is going on 5 years and no other airline has problems getting planes... WJA just announced a new one.

5) What about the shorts that magically show up to crush the stock just days before each news announcement - how do they know??

February 27^th 2016 – Jetlines says sill going ahead after abruptly cancelling plans for launch in 2015.  (lawsuit)

In June 2016 the airline announced that it had asked the Canadian government to relax its legal requirement for Canadian airlines to have no more than 25% foreign ownership, allowing Canada Jetlines to seek foreign investment up to the level of 49% ownership.^[5] On November 3, 2016, Transport Minister Marc Garneau approved Jetlines' request for exemption from the current foreign ownership rules, which allowed the airline to access necessary capital in order to begin operations.^[6] The airline has one ownership member from Europe and a board made up of industry members from Europe and the United States. – why this is necessary is not clear since they have access to the public markets and can raise capital that way.

 

November 15^th 2016 – Jetlines says it is going live Spring 2016 (in Kitchener Ont.) – Airport only cautiously optimistic they will go ahead. (sees this all the time)
