I don’t agree with the premise of your comments that, “FMS is so behind in the Canadian graphite space relative to peers”, now “completely dead”, “no progress”, “no tangible news”.
Quite to the contrary, Focus is one of the leaders among Canadian graphite juniors. As a resource, Focus has three things going for it that combined are difficult to match by competitors: 1) high purity and grade, 2) developed value-added products, and 3) the resulting market price for it’s products. Regardless of what the market cap is, regardless of the opinion of the company or its management in the market, or competing opinions on Focus, those three resource qualities stand for themselves and will lead to the development of the mine. it will be one of at most two Canadian firms that will come into production.
No competitor has beaten Focus at anything as no one is in production yet. And speaking with management they are in a good position to capitalize on the steady development progress that has been made: They have defined the project; developed proprietary processes for a whole series of value-added products; launched those products and have them currently being evaluated by numerous potential customers; are actively working with a technical team to finish permitting, and are in the final stages of putting together a development consortium to build Lac Knife.
Contrary to what you may think, “is becoming more outdated by the year”, is actually posed to be very “in” and “successful”.
