Im working in behavior science and its and one accepted assumption is that the behaviors (here we talk about bashing / pumping) that is maintained is that there are always beneficial consequences to somewhere (we call that reinforcement contingency) ... I'm just surprised that it really works on some people because you have to be stupid to not see their game ...
