RE:institutional investors will make the decision---not usHmmm, possibly but not guaranteed.. ENF is the most independant of the subs and not
all institutions, hedge funds or large holders may want to merge into ENB for the same
reasons that many small holders have. I think it is a big assumption that they will all vote
in favour. If the vote is more split amongst the large holders, then the small retail holders
will decide which way this goes. The fact that ENB cannot vote their shares makes it very
difficult to predict the outcome IMO. The other aspect is if the vote is NO, will ENB come
back to sweeten or not. This is a pretty big piece of their restructuring plans and I suspect
they would not want to walk away in a huff and spite their nose to save their face but who
knows until it happens. Meanwhile collect the monthly dividend as long as possible.
