Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Connecting the dots between APH <-> HIKU <->WMD

Connecting the dots between APH <-> HIKU <->WMD
There are some some interesting dynamics connecting these three.  Aphria has Hiku/Tokyo Smoke/Doja front and centre in their investor materials.

HIKU and WMD are merging.  And all three are take over candidates by big adult beverage/alcohol distillers not wanting to miss out to their competitors as Canada seals itself as the #1 high quality, regulated marijuana country in the world.

We should thank Canopy for starting the bull run of November 2017, CRON for getting the initial eyes focussed for US investors and Canopy again for focussing institutional and fund buying into this sector.

Aphria won't be under the radar for long.  I love their strategy and Aphria management really knows where the markets are going and how important international sales will be post 2018 Canadian gold rush in this sector.
