investee company blockstrain going public

Itt made a small investment of 100 thousand in blockstrain a while back. Today, it was announced blockstrain goes public tommorrow under symbol dnax tommorrow. I think itt paid 30 cents a share. I would like to understand why such a small investment unless there is something more in it for itt. Can anyone shed some light on that?
