RE:RE:RE:RE:GDXJ rebalancing
Another possibility: When Klondex was kicked out of GDXJ Waterton stepped in and bought all of the shares in a single block trade. The stock moved down in anticipation but the shares didn't hit the market. I WOULD EXPECT SOMETHING SIMILAR HERE. Based on the GDXJ requirements that was provided a few posts ago, I think KL remains in the GDXJ and the rumors from the Italian is just that. Rumors. It is in his own self interest to promote fear, uncertainty and doubt. He is on the short side trying to push his poker chips around while bluffing. If a KL is eliminated from GDXJ and KL sees fit they can take down the entire block themselves. From May 17th news release: KL is authorized to purchase up to 16,456,561 common shares of the Company (the Shares), representing 10% of the current issued and outstanding Shares in the public float as of May 15, 2018 They could step up with their authorized buyback... The average daily trading volume for the six months period ended April 30, 2018, less prior NCIB purchases made on the TSX, was 799,839. Under the renewed NCIB, the maximum number of securities that the Company may purchase on a daily basis, OTHER THAN BLOCK PURCHASE EXEMPTIONS, are 199,959 Common Shares. The actual number of Common Shares purchased for cancellation and the timing of such purchase will be determined by the Company. There cannot be any assurance as to how many Common Shares will ultimately be purchased for cancellation under the NCIB. Non Issue.
