RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Troll Team??If you had read my previous posts you would note that I have said exactly the same thing.
Warren Buffet...who I follow very closely does not and never has invested in companies that do not make money. He does not invest in gold for the same reason. He also does not invest in businesses he does not understand.
So on all counts he would not invest stocks of companies that only spend money. In addition to that BerkShire Hathaway could buy out every single mining stock in Canada.
You are not telling me information I do not know already and have stated many times.
Berkshire is now so large that making money requires Buffet to buy out huge chunks of companies or the entire company in some cases. There was a time when he would not invest in Tech stocks however that appears to have changed with his now 5% holding In Apple (which I also own). So never say never but juniors are weay too small.
So suggest you read more closely and you will see that I have already said what you now criticise me for.

Malcolm2001 wrote: Yes, I have heard of that method before and it is quite a good analogy to describe what often occurs in markets. Understanding it and knowing not to run over the edge of the cliff yourself are the keys to great investing. Mr Buffet has made many billions watching the herd and going in the opposite direction. I prefer his knowledge of "Mr. Market" to much of what is posted here in the name of information.

I love that comment Malcom2001. "therefore cannot 'know' anything. This is so true of bashers too.
As for the
herd mentality analyogy, I recall listening to some tribal elders in Saskatchewan telling me how their ancestors used to
run herds of Buffallo off the cliffs when they needed to stock up on food and fur for the winter months. That seems to be what the RBC report did today. The herd thought that they heard something in the message and it drove a herd of CCO investors off the cliff.
Live Long and Prosper or simply follow the herd off a cliff
