That's a good question... My guess is not... As they would have to pay taxes on that interest and it would conflict with the tax clearance process... However, I might be wrong and the tax clearance people could take it into account... 

Anyone tried calling the Federal Tax Clearance offices in Ottawa to see what is taking so long?
