After reading recent article re China steel Market Dynamics

After reading recent article re China steel Market DynamicsSnippet: that article points out the current spread between low and high grade could turn because of pressures on margins. That said, environmental issues (govern regs) may override the production economics that favors a shift from high grade to lower grades (margins). That said, and the article sites the miner/exporter Fortescue, for example, the third largest producer in the world, may have to "consider longer terms plans to diversify away from China or improve the quality of its product."

A natural question after considering the mix in the Trough today ie Champion (Bloom Lake), Rio Tinto (IOC), Wabush, and ArcelorMittal;  is Kami a true prize (take over target for say a Fortescue) or rather an orphan up for adoption (by the other miners in the district).
