With all the announcements that have taken place with Hiku and all of their great mergers, there is no actual movement with the stock price. Infact on some days, it has gone down. Is everything waiting for the senate vote and then the Weedmd vote? There is no much positive aspects happening with Hiku and yet no real good news? Also, do you have any idea who will actually be on the Hike/Weedmd board after the merger (i am sure it will go ahead). will any of the Doja people
principals be involved? lastly, do u think Hiku will be bought out by maybe Aphria. I would be surprised from what I read about Alan. I would expect him to stick around and really grow the company. your comments would be appreciated.
thanks
Hey shano---
Sure i can give it a shot
1-Q-"there is no actual movement with the stock price. Infact on some days, it has gone down. Is everything waiting for the senate vote and then the Weedmd vote? "
A-We have seen SP's being stagnant during mergers but i feel this is still more of a sector thing then a HIKU thing . Most of their small cap peers are trading similar --gene/fire/mari/cbw/thcb/namaste/mym/weedmd/abcann etc...this is the growth stage and i believe winners will emerge in the next 18 months or so. As far as the senate vote some here on SH feel it will be a big boost or bullrun but i see it just adding a few more green days outa the month ,but a step in the right direction for sure.
2-"Q-There is no much positive aspects happening with Hiku and yet no real good news? "
A- not sure why you wouldn't see all the acquisitions especially WeedmD as "real good news" ,..-i look for which markets they are entering and these acquisitions are strategically located -town/province/coast/country ...The sheer work ethic to get these deals done is impressive as well.* check the timeline for alan &HIKU you can clearly see the passion/work ethic...If my previous post about jackman can't get someone excited about the direction/branding for HIKu and the advantage this holds over their competitors as well as their ability to speak to this generation (millennials/women)i dont believe any news would then lol.
3-Q-"Also, do you have any idea who will actually be on the Hike/Weedmd board after the merger (i am sure it will go ahead). will any of the Doja people

A- The board consists of 7 people .post merger it will be three HIKU and 3 MD with the 7th mutually agreed upon. Keith merker of MD will be president of HIKU while ALAN will remain CEO - as far as DOJA they are the westcoast operation with trent and rita still running the show .
4-Q-"lastly, do u think Hiku will be bought out by maybe Aphria. I would be surprised from what I read about Alan. I would expect him to stick around and really grow the company. "
A- i talked about this briefly before that one day i wouldnt rule it out thats for sure ,i just dont see it being likely .. The NUU acquisition was hard on APH possibly "over paying" in some eyes....APH also has about 400M +shares out so i expect them to be careful of dilution as they are more prudent then ACB ..in my eyes anyways...
Reasons why APH wouldnt/could not acquire HIKU
-NUU acquisition
-broken coast already produces "craft" cannabis for APH
-current supply agreement with HIKU already to have access to DOJA products so why buyout the company.
- major expansion to leamington facility that will be costly.
- APH really doesnt need WeedMD for anything.
- With the GREAT NORTH DISTRIBUTOR /southern galzers deal APH has a "one of a kind" supply deal that gives them access to literally everything almost everywhere...if their is a shelf selling LPs products APH will be on it.
So for these many reasons i dont see that merger or acquisition happening imho ...Plus ALAN would have to be involved no doubt -**and i think he has his own goals and aspirations for HIKU to be a giant cannabis company in their own right ---after-all he was quoted as saying he "wants a cannabis company more valuable than INBEV"--
