Bashers and Pumpers let’s Look at the facts:

Pros:

1) Government just introduce a new form of taxation and the provinces will reap the biggest rewards  Although the provinces will have the bigger share of the tax-revenue pie, the Feds badly needs to realize their share as well to stabilize the projected $19.4 B deficit incurred las fiscal year.
2) A new industry will be created and provide hundreds of Jobs Alberta, in particular, is banking on the job spin-offs from legalization to address the job losses from the oil and gas industry.
3) Legal Marijuana will have to meet stick health Canada standards Health Canada's restrictions on medical use and access ensure public safety

Cons:

1) The law will be challenge in workplace safety and testing especially where heavy machinery involve.  HR tool kit and template are available and continue to be developed in anticipation of the legalization so this is a short-term issue
2) Stock prices will face a correction if the C-45 does get delay or postponed Agreed
3) The black market will increase with the 4 plants limit allowed
 I think that legalization will reduce activities of the black market - just like cigarettes
IMHO: The taxation benefits are to great to give up and the government is pushing hard to make sure C-45 get pass. The Conservative want to spoil Justin’s parade and will try everything in their power to squash the bill.  The Feds desperately need the revenue - I believe that it was factored into the current year's budget but the actual $$$ was not specified.

In my opinion, C45 will pass on June 7th.
