RE:RE:Why is it going up ?TCW has the best balance sheet in the patch. Uncertainty, surrounds the question of where will growth come from once all their spreads are activated by end of 2018. The cost to re-enter the US mkt would be tremendous and they just dont have the size to pull off a merger which would make sense.
I think it far better for them to buy ESN-T, become the dominat CT operator to go along #1 cad fraccer and cementer. With ESN already having 5 US locations at which they rent tools, they could leverage the combined balance sheet and deploy/customize some of their combined CT fleet and redeploy to the States.
Coiled tubing is their only product line which they would be able to expand their %. No other deal makes sense on the publically traded side in the WCSB for TCW.
