Yes, Alnylam with siRNA and IONIS with antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are tackling the brain. So far, intrathecal injection is the only proven option. IONIS/Biogen are internal/collaborative R&D programs investigating antibody-mediated approaches to get those ASOs across the BBB. the 12 amino acid xB3/Mtf-pep might work even better for both siRNA AND ASO approaches.
