RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:... some volume today ...... the shares actually do not have to be halted for a news announcement to be made. In the USA, companies rately request a halt prior to releasing news. In Canada for some reason, companies will often request a halt pending an announcement. I think it is unfortunate and risky for companies to dovthis because they run the risk the exhchange doesn’t approve their announcement and the shares remain halted indefinitely. I think the reason Canadian companies request halts pending announcement is to draw an audience to the news.

Don’t listen to me though. I am a novice investor.
