We don't know at this stage whether it will be used for debt or equity, at what price any issue would be at, when it would be etc... or if it will be used at all. Nobody is giving the farm away here. Based on my experiences with KITE and LOXO I promise you that it is in our best interests to sell purposeful equity in the US.

You need to put together the full package to make biotech work, clinical/business/financial. Biotech can fail on getting any one of them wrong. Big pharma strike deals not because they like you and want to see you succeed but to get richer and they are very good at getting a big slice. Same thing on the financial side, you need those partnerships to make the whole thing work but nobody is going to give you that for free. You have to be able to expect that management will fight to retain the largest possible slice for investors. I like that they are taking care of all aspects of the business, it adds strength to the long term story.

If you're a long term investor try to think like a long term investor, if you're a trader think like a trader. Sometimes people are thinking like both, I do it and it tends to be confusing and not very productive.
