Waiting game ...cost companies money . Worse is the confusion regarding evolving standards that are being applied without the applicants prior knowledge. Health Canada has not been transparent and communicating with the industry last few months according to security consultants. Many not even receiving a file number till 6-8 weeks up the road before they are even told they are at the review stage. It’s truly bizarre for applicants to be left in the dark ...it’s turned into a guessing game as to what standards *exactly* have to met these last few months and going forward. Many having to make corrections where no prior guidelines were communicated. Without clear cut guide lines it’s hit or miss atm also leaving the industry open to unfair practices by HC. 
There is the angle that C-45 s final regulatory wording to follow will rectify these issues. 
Mean while it’s a mucky race at best.
