RE:RE:RE:Upcoming Event PredictionYeah, if you meant cash for all existing paper..then yeah...that is possible with DDM. But a paper for paper deal is not possible seeing as DDM is a private company...unless they plan to re-ipo DDM as a public entity.

I'm with Kid on the De Beers thing. If they can get an acceptable deal for the friedlands and it is at the hands of De Beers....it might be the way to go.
The washington group is already trying to kick some of its stakeholders in the ballz already. De Beers has been around for a long time and has no incentive to burn any bridges before they get built. Washington group is basically trying to do a cash grab and run scenario.
It is a bit sad that Washington group is enforcing an american business stereotype behavior. 
It would have been nice to not have to expect this type of behavior. My respect for Robert Gannicott has gone no where but up in the last 6 months.
