RE:RE:RE:RE:tuff horizon marker as an indicator of system continuityI have been licensed and in the securities business more than 3 decades. It's one thing to call the news release "Keystone Cops", it is another to say why you characterize it that way. I didn't see it that way.
It isn't unusual to halt a stock to release news. It is also common for news to be released before markets open or close. While news travels fast, regulators often specify halts to avoid those in the know from having an unfair advantage. The halt is to avoid chaotic dare I say "Keystone Cops" trading.
When a stock trades in multiple time zones around the world, a halt to release news makes all the sense in the world. A market is always open somewhere.
It isn't Novo's or QH's fault that there are a lot of uninformed investors out there trading with little geological background, who are unwilling or unable to do research, due dilligence, or read a news release.
It isn't Novo or QH's fault there are many with opposing agendas yelling "The sky is falling" repeatedly at those with low information, but full of hope fear, & greed.
They did what they could. They stopped trading and released what they had.
If you have done your homework, you already knew if this was an opportunity to buy gold, on sale.
There are restrictions on insiders trading ahead of news. It will be interesting to see if any institutions bought after the news.
