RE:RE:California Vs. Canada

RE:RE:California Vs. CanadaThanks, Stockondeck.
1. The California facility is 325,000 sft Phase 1 and 164,000 sft Phase 2, for a total of 489,000 sft.
It's definitely not 700,000 sft.
So I am still puzzled as to why the output is the same from both sites. My guess is that California will be able to produce more per square foot due to better weather.

2. 126 acres is really a lot, even considering future expansion plans. Still, with so much competition and a lot of talk about over-supply eventually, I don't think expansion in Canada is even realistic though.
My guess is that the sale of the Okanagan Falls facility was an "all or nothing" type. Buy the whole 126 acre parcel as the seller was not willing or able to break it up into a smaller lot(s).

2. The decision was made to allow for future expansion from what I understand. Also, they will own the land as wherein Oliver it would be on a 99yr lease making bank backed financing more difficult.

3. There has been mention of all trim being used for extraction in Canada. They haven't mentioned anything specific but I think its safe to assume they will be doing extraction at this site.
