backforty ---- I'm guessing you don't have an accounting background.  I always assume people here have some sort of financial background lol.  Anyways, the $15/BOE is the actual operating costs meaning the cost to operate the business, which includes Transportation, Production, General & Administration, and Finance & Interest costs.  The figure you've posted is just Production Expense.  You must aggregate the figures to give you the actual cost to operate the business otherwise your missing a lot of the information that would be pertinent to your investment decision.  If you've studied other E&P companies you'd know many other companies operate much leaner.  For example, the production expense figure you've posted at $8.31/BOE some other companies are operating at roughly a little over $5.  Hope that's clear.
