Let’s review a few of Novo’s “terrible” news releases: May 31, 2018: 10.4g/t from a 7 ton sample,and 1.5 g/t from a 6.8 ton sample of footwall dolerite.
April 25, 2018: Novo reported numerous gold nuggets in the preliminary processing of the Comet Well sample.
February 14, 2018: Purdy’s - “Grades of 87.8, 46.1, 10.6 and 15.7 gpt Au were obtained from samples of this material from trench 1 and 17.7 gpt Au from a sample from trench 2.” “samples of this [footwall dolerite] material yielded grades of 4.1, 0.4 and 0.03 gpt Au from trench 1, and 2.2 and 2.7 gpt Au from trenches 2 and 3. The press release continued with more results and a detailed explanation of their sampling process.
December 21, 2017: “Receipt of first bulk sample results including 15.7 gpt Au from a 304 kg sample of basal conglomerate from Trench 1 and 17.7 gpt Au from a 371 kg sample of basal conglomerate from Trench 2.” There was also a lot of material explaining their thorough sampling process.
November 2, 2017: “The weighted average grade of two splits of this bulk sample was 67.08 gpt Au. Approximately 82% of the gold in this sample was determined to be coarse, mainly nuggets displaying several interesting characteristics.”
Novo has pretty much had news releases at least monthly. They tend to have elaborate details explaining process.
