RE:RE:RE:California Vs. Canada

RE:RE:RE:California Vs. CanadaI could be wrong, its been awhile since I've read investor materials but I thought the "total" space of each facility is supposed to be 700k sqft. which would include office space, packaging, all the non-greenhouse areas. I would also agree with Cali being able to produce more based on weather. They probably get year-round conditions suitable to grow. As where in Canada we have a few months that are a nice snow covered winter.

I think for purchasing the OK falls lot several things come into play. They waited far longer then they wanted to because of the feds dragging their feet to purchase in Oliver and they wanted to get moving. Like stated before Oliver would be a lease which would make bank financing more difficult. Expandability of the Oliver lot. Even if they never use it they can always subdivide later and sell. I think it's important to point out about how expensive land is here. Farmland is selling for 100-150k per acre. My 1-acre residential lot here is worth 300k just for the land. So I think this was pretty good decision overall. Sinking money into real estate here is always a sure bet.
