I donno, maybe that massive bidder knew something today that we didn't. My glass is half full; especially with rec round the corner. Things need to get bullish sooner or later. My guess is small down tic at opener then up we go on news or sideways again till we get the NR we are waiting for.
It's really not hard to figure out what happened. all day there was a HUGE bid at $1.42, approx. a million dollars worth. that bid was there all day. Finally at the end of the day, he decided "f*ck it, I'll just buy at market" and then he drove the price up. He can easily dump it all tomorrow and make some $$$.
Or, he may have bought at market by mistake. the buddy who had his huge bid at $1.42, he canceled it a few times and put in his bid order again. Maybe the last time he put in an order, he accidently put in a market order, forgetting to put a limit on his order.
That is possible too, and very probable
