Pet TrialsPet treatment is actually a massively underestimated market, IMO.
People medicate their pets for everything - from anxiety to digestive disorders to chronic pain, etc... Many people treat their dogs better than human children.
Cannabis has been suspected for a long time to be a great candidate for treatment of canines, but little has been understood about it, and many trials and data were very bad - I read a study recently done in Colorado where treated canines died when fed human strength edibles for medical treatment. This is because canines are now known to have several magnitudes more cannabinoid receptors than humans (think taking like a 100X dose of your favorite edible - yes, you could die).
So, we are at a point where we need much much much more data - how much is a good dose? What is a good delivery mechanism? How often should we treat for various ailments? CBD versus THC levels? What about different breeds, is there a correlation to receptors? What about cats?
I think there are many patents, treatment methods and formulae to be developed. They are on the right track here - carefully moving forward with trials. A trial iplies THAT THEY ARE TESTING SOMETHING - they must have a formula, a product, something, otherwise, what are they trialing? The right breakthrough could lead to a trusted, medical study-backed branding of pet products with proprietary formulas - now, think manufacturing and distribution at NR to get those products made and distributed all over the world. :)
