Lost my mind? Not quite yet.

Hey, I'm in on weed stocks because I think it's a train that cannot be stopped. Regardless of whether or not July 1 was a "date set by the government" - my impression of Trudeau which I believe is shared by many, is that when he says something - meh - maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't. I hope and assume legalization comes in the fall, but it's not 100%. Certainly he will make it legal (if not easy or cheap to buy) before re-election.

And aside from L-Day (date of legalization), there's still plenty the government can do to limit the profitability of weed stocks as I also mentioned. Based on what controls may , I don't predict too many drug dealers being forced out of business.

At least initially, those buying legal marijuana will not be people who are regular consumers of the product today.
