Good post. Thang is.. Big pharmas aren't going to simply kick in the door and make off with lock, stock and barrel. They're going to investigate this tiny, obscure company the stock of which trades on a den-of-thieves market and then, if impressed, negotiate - and that takes a little time.
That said, the longer the stock sits in this range the less likely it is they have the goods.
Maybe they cancelled the 180-day because there is no cure for bladder cancer; there is only management and the risk of at least 1 recurrence in 6 subjects in 6 mos is high no matter what the post-op treatment. This is not to say they shouldn't play it straight and complete the 180-day. That they didn't is a litte disturbing.
Nevertheless, if their treatment is as effective as BCG they have something that is a bona fide anti-cancer agent the degree of effectiveness of which and the transferability to treatments of other cancers are the moot points. Surely it's a good spec buy - downside 25 cents, upside ? dollars.
