RE:Need for condensate

RE:Need for condensate
JDavis17 wrote: Cold Lake Blend is an asphaltic heavy crude blend of bitumen (11API/5.5%S) and condensate (65API/0.1%S). Blend at loadport is typically 21.1API and 3.5%S. Blend ratio will vary marginally on a seasonal basis according to pipeline viscosity/temperature requirements. "

So every barrel of bitumen/blend shipped requires about 20% condensate.
It is obvious Canada will need every barrel of condensate we can produce, as the alternative is bringing it in from the US with the added cost of pipelining it up. That is why condensate produced right here at home will always command a really good price.

BBI is one of the best, if not THE best junior condensate play available for a reasonable share price. They have got so many advantages, it would take a lot of space to repeat them all. Besides, those of us who know the fundamentals, know enough to hold our shares tightly, and ignore those who try to mislead.

Interesting to know. Is this a guess or do you have some data available?
